Mathews Journal of Diabetes & Obesity (MJDO; ISSN 2572-6447) is a scholarly open access journal that publishes original research on a variety of topics pertaining to diabetes and obesity, such as biochemical and molecular aspects underlying abnormal biological processes that lead to the development of diabetes and comorbidities, pathogenesis of diabetes and its complications, pancreatic islet function, and pharmacological mechanisms underlying drug and hormone action. Special emphasis is placed on articles pertaining to comorbidities of diabetes, such as diet-induced obesity, pediatric obesity, diabetic nephropathy, diabetic retinopathy, diabetic neuropathy, gestational diabetes, diabetic ketoacidosis, dialysis, and hyperglycemia and hypoglycaemia.
MJDO is one of the leading authorities on diabetes and associated comorbidities and targets medical professionals and researchers in this field as audience. MJDO is committed to publishing authoritative and arresting basic and clinical research articles related to type 1 and type 2 forms of diabetes and associated complications, symptoms, and treatments.
