Biography

Dr. Mahmoud Rezk AbouLaila is an Associate Professor of Parasitology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Damanhour University, Egypt. He was a visiting researcher at Obihiro University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, Japan. He was JSPS fellow at Obihiro University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, Japan. He Obtained his Ph.D. from Obihiro University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, Japan.

Dr. Mahmoud Rezk AbouLaila worked as an assistant lecturer, lecturer, and Associate professor at the Department of Parasitology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Sadat City, Minoufiya, Egypt. During his Ph.D. and the fellowships, he focused on developing diagnostic and drug therapy for Babesia and Theileria Parasites. He also identified the drug target enzymes in Babesia Parasites. He identified some vaccine candidates for Babesia control. He conducted molecular and serological epidemiological surveys for these parasites worldwide.
