Biography
Dr. Georges Chapouthier currently holds the rank of Emeritus Research Director at the French CNRS (National Center for Scientific Research). He obtained two doctorate degrees, one in neurobiology and the other in philosophy. His research is focused on the pharmacology of memory and anxiety in rodents and also deals with the relation of man towards animals. Dr. Chapouthier has written several books on the brain and on animal behavior and published extensively in these two fields.
