Biography
Dr. Jesús Dueñas Becerra worked as Professor-advisor and member of the Scientific Council and of Publications until his retirement in Psychiatric Hospital of Havana Cuba. He graduated as Doctor in Pedagogy at the Central University of Las Villas. She has worked in higher medical education (pre and postgraduate) and has participated as a collaborator or advisor in more than 40 research projects in the fields of Epileptology, Rorschach Psychodiagnosis, Health Psychology, and Special Education.
Dr. Jesús Dueñas Becerra is a member of the Editorial Board of the flagship publication of said institution. He also writes, regularly or occasionally, for the Cuban Journal of Psychology, the missing Psychology Bulletin, the Journal of Higher Medical Education, the Acimed magazine, the Journal of the Latin American Association of Rorschach etc. He has written several chapters and book prologues and is the author of the monographs La danza vista por una psicólogo (La Habana: Ediciones Vivarium, 2004).
He has participated in national and international scientific congresses, where he has presented 144 works. Since 2000, he gave journalistic coverage to these events, both for Radio Reloj and for Radio Habana Cuba. He is an Honorary Member of the Roman School of Rorschach and a member of the International Psychogeriatric Association, of the Neurosciences Society of Cuba
