Biography
Dr. Katarzyna Styszko is currently working as Assistant Professor, Faculty of Energy and Fuels, Department of Coal Chemistry and Environmental Sciences at AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, Poland. She completed her Ph.D. from AGH University of Science and Technology, Faculty of Mining Surveying and Environmental Engineering. Poland.
She has published papers as Author and co-author in total over 75 publications and conference contributions and is also involved in the supervision of PhD, Masters and Diploma students. Dr. Katarzyna received Rector's Award for didactic achievements thrice and also has research experience in Poland and abroad.
Research interests:
Processes concerning organic micro-pollutants.
Environmental analytics and mechanisms of accumulation of contaminants in sediments.
Removal and sorption of xenobiotics in Waste Water Treatment Plants.
The aspect of emerging contaminants analysis in the ambient particulate matter.
Chemical composition of atmospheric aerosols and adverse effects on human health.
