Biography
Dr. Li is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, School of Medicine, University of Pittsburg. Currently, Dr. Li is the director of Musculoskeletal Growth & Regeneration Lab (MGRL) in the Department of Orthopedics Surgery, University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Li’s research is focused on musculoskeletal diseases and regenerative medicine. He received two residency pieces of training both in thoracic and orthopedic surgeries. He also has one master’s degree which mainly focused on the cell and molecular biology and methodology. Dr. Li received his postdoctoral training in the Stem Cell Research Center (under Dr. Johnny Huard).
Dr. Li published 30+ peer-reviewed original articles, 2 book chapters, along with a number of podium and poster presentations in scientific meetings related to Orthopaedic. He also received several national and local awards and serve as regular reviewers in many scientific journals.
