ABSTRACT
Keloid is defined as excessive cell production resulting with abnormal wound healing. Pathogenesis is still not well understood. Nodules characterized benign fibrosis formation usually is located in chest, shoulder, neck and earlobe. Not only aesthetics concerns but also causes pain and irritation. Intralesional corticosteroids, topical applications, cryotherapy, surgery, laser therapy, and silicone sheeting are widely used options mentioned in the literature [1]. Clinically, keloids have been documented to be formed following an injury or inflammation of the skin and grow continuously over the years and they do not regress spontaneously [2,3]. This case study was planned to investigate the short term effects of kinesio- taping in keloid treatment.
