Biography
Dr. Ganesan Kandasamy currently working as a Postdoctoral at the University of Malaya, Malaysia. Earlier he worked as Research Associate at the Missouri University of Science and Technology, USA. He received M.Sc. from Ayya Nadar Janaki Ammal College, affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University, India. He obtained Ph.D. in Central Salt and Marine Chemicals Research Institute, Gujarat, India. His Ph.D. thesis was entitled: Studies on edible species of Enteromorpha from the Gujarat coast.
His research was mainly based on nutrition and nutraceuticals aspect of algae and their possible use in human and animal nutrition. He has authored about 16 research papers on international and national journals
