Biography
Dr. Salvatore Sutti is currently holding the Postdoctoral position at the Department of Medical Sciences of the University of Turin, Italy. He pursued his PhD in Molecular Medicine at the Department of Health Sciences of the University of East Piedmont “A. Avogadro” during which he was interested to reveal the origin and antigenic specificity of antibodies recognizing cytochrome P450 2E1 (CYP2E1) conformational epitopes and associated to a liver injury worsening in patients affected from viral hepatitis C.
Salvatore Sutti experiments were focusing on the study of innate immune reactions in nonalcoholic steato-hepatitis (NASH) progression. His research activity is awarded by 17 scientific publications on peer-reviewed and impact factor journals and 34 abstracts presented during national and international conferences. He is also training member of European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL) as well as the Italian Society of Pathology and Translational Medicine (SIPMeT) and a member of the World Journal of Hepatology Editorial Board and I am acting as referee for World Journal of Gastroenterology.
