Biography
Dr. Seyed Amir Danesh Sani is currently working in the department of Periodontology and Implant dentistry at New York University College of Dentistry. He is pursuing his Postgraduate residency program in Periodontology and Implant dentistry at New York University College of Dentistry. He obtained Doctor of Dental Surgery from Mashhad University of Medical Sciences. He served as dentist in the army hospital, National Military Service, Iran.
Dr. Seyed Amir has authored many peer-reviewed articles, has reviewed and published nationally and internationally. He is a Board member of Journal of Periodontology, International Journal of Periodontics & Restorative Dentistry and many others. He has recently published a book, “Cardiovascular emergency care in dentistry”. He was awarded the Best Young Researcher, 17th Razi Research Festival on Medical Sciences, Iran and Best clinical research award for frontal sinus agenesis using computed tomography. Besides his success in his profession, Seyed Amir is a great humanitarian serving at "Fayaz Bakhsh" community dental clinic providing dental services to undeserved people referred by charity foundations.
