Dr. Graskemper currently practices full-time dentistry in Bell port, New York as a Clinical Associate Professor and is a Diplomat in the American Board of Medical Malpractice. He graduated from Xavier University, attended, obtained his dental degree from Ohio State University in 1977 and his law degree in California in 1987. He was awarded a Navy Dental Scholarship, as a Lieutenant, U.S. Navy Dental Officer.
He teaches the Professionalism and Ethics in Dentistry course for residents and dental students. He is a Board member of the International Dental Ethics and Law Society, The American Board of Medical Malpractice, American College of Legal Medicine and the Suffolk County Dental Society. Dr. Graskemper has authored many peer-reviewed articles, has lectured and published nationally and internationally. He recently published a book, “Professional Responsibility in Dentistry: A Guide to Law and Ethics”.
He has been awarded Fellowships from the Academy of General Dentistry, American Endodontic Society, Oral Implantologists, American Society of Osseointegration, American College of Legal Medicine, and Dentists. Besides his success in his profession, Graskemper is a great humanitarian serving the severely mentally and physically handicapped individuals of all ages.
