Biography

Dr. Kishan Patel currently pursuing fellowship in critical care medicine and IM/EM resident in final year of residency. He pursued undergraduate studies with a major in Nutritional Sciences and specific focus on biochemical pathways of nutrients in Rutgers University. After pursuing a degree in medicine at UMDNJ School of Osteopathic Medicine, he pursued IM/EM as a residency, which is long winded and the combination would provide an excellent path into the world of critical care medicine.

His current interests lay in shock specifically septic shock as well as management of oxygenation/ventilation in the critically ill requiring mechanical ventilation.

Resuscitation with focus on fluids and blood products
Analgesia
Paralytics
