ABSTRACT
Mycotic aneurisms are uncommon. The visceral arteries are the most unusual site and rupture is often associated with life-threatening hemorrhages. We present a case of a visceral mycotic aneurysm located in superior segmental artery, branch of the left renal artery in an immunosuppressed patient with positive blood cultures to Salmonella. The aneurysm was excluded with a covered stent which was designed for the treatment of acute coronary perforations.
