Biography

Dr. Virginia Mareco received her medical degree from the Faculdade de Medicina, Universidade de Lisboa, Portugal, in June 2008. Subsequently, she completed her residency training in Radiation Oncology at Hospital de Santa Maria (HSM), Centro Hospitalar Lisboa Norte (CHLN), Entidade Pública Empresarial (EPE), in May 2015. She was a junior resident at the Department of Radiation Oncology, InstitutGustaveRoussy, Villejuif, France, from November 2013 to April 2014, where she took part in many clinical trials. At the moment, Dr. VirgíniaMarecois working as a radiation oncologist at the HSM, CHLN, EPE. Her main fields of interest include clinical research on tumors of the skin, bone, soft tissue, and genitourinary and gastrointestinal tracts. She is also Editor of Advances in Modern Oncology Research (AMOR).
